Disney Movie Zenon! The one thing I love about moving into Los Angeles could be the number of revival houses and single screen cinemas you can still visit. I'm not discussing your multiplexes which might be playing the newest Hollywood blockbusters, I'm speaking about those historic movie theaters that play in the classic movies we loved watching whenever we were maturing. Many of these films we first watched in the news or rented them on VHS from your local video stores (back when they existed), but we never got a chance to see them on the big screen where they belonged. But because of places like New Beverly Cinema, the Egyptian Theatre and Grauman's Chinese among other movie theatres, we finally get to obtain them the way they were intended to be seen.
Now I know lots of people who these days would prefer to curl up about the sofa and view movies at home, however, these cult movies need to be seen on the big screen should you be ever in Los Angeles.
"The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
This musical comedy horror cult classic which stars Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick and also the great Tim Curry as a "sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania" could be the longest-running midnight movie ever.
