Walt Disney Movies Timeline! The a very important factor I love about moving into Los Angeles will be the number of revival houses and single screen movie theaters you can still visit. I'm not speaking about your multiplexes which can be playing the most recent Hollywood blockbusters, I'm discussing those historic cinemas that take part in the classic movies we loved watching whenever we were becoming an adult. Many of these films we first watched in the media or rented them on VHS from my local video stores (back when they existed), but we never reached see them about the big screen where they belonged. But due to places like New Beverly Cinema, the Egyptian Theatre and Grauman's Chinese among other movie theatres, we finally get to discover their whereabouts the way they were meant to be seen.
Now I know lots of people who nowadays would prefer to curl up on the sofa watching movies in your own home, however, these cult movies must be seen about the big screen if you're ever in Los Angeles.
"The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
This musical comedy horror cult classic which stars Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick plus the great Tim Curry being a "sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania" could be the longest-running midnight movie in recent history. Thirty-eight years after "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" became available, will still be playing in limited release and midnight screenings keep occurring all over America. "The Room"
The 2003 romantic drama which has been written, produced, directed and stars Tommy "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA!" Wiseau has been called among the worst films ever produced, and the fans still can't get enough of it.
