Brendan Fraser stars as the father wanting to protect his daughter in the event the real world as well as the storybook world become entangled. Her father finds that without his daughter's help their real life can't be set right. This may be better for teenagers because the antics with the odd, mean hoodlum gang can seem to be quite threatening.
